The soccer industry of South America


From the 27th of April to 13th of May of 2013 the group of students and partners of «Sport Industry Management» RMA program had taken part in an internship program titled «The soccer industry of South America» that was organized by RMA business school.



Dates: April 27th - May 13th of 2013

Cities: Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Buenos Aires (Argentina)


 


The program included: Workshops and seminars from top managers of the following organizations and clubs, visiting the stadiums, training centers and youth football academies with a detailed study of the infrastructure; visiting football matches.

Topics of workshops and seminars: commercial and transfer activities of professional sports clubs, marketing strategies, budgeting, merchandising, work with the fans (loyalty programs), broadcast rights, operation of sports facilities, organization of the youth academies, etc.


 


Organizations: The Organizing Committee for the FIFA World Cup 2014 (Brazil), The Organizing Committee for the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympics Games (Brazil), AFA (Argentinean Football Association) (Argentina);
