"Internet Technology Management" programm goes popular

On July 6th, TV channel «Russia-2» in their syndicated show "Vesti.ru" had an episode about the "Internet Technology Management" program, which will be introduced at the State Management University this fall, and run by RMA and the leading Russian and Western companies.

Applications were accepted until July 25th, for the program taught by the top managers of various internet-based projects, with the subsequent internships offered at companies such as Yandex, Mail.ru, Google. TV program was produced by the News host Alina Temnova, who spent the entire day filming at the enrollment office of GUU (State Management University).

The main character of the televised episode was one of the prospect students, who came to submit the matriculation documents. When asked, why she had chosen this particular field, Elizabeth said, that her generation had become accustomed to "living online", and that herself she was hoping to make a career working on interesting and well paying projects.

The president of GUU (State Management University) Victor Kozbanenko also agreed to give an interview. "Managers of internet projects are in great need on the labor market. And the educational market should respond to this demand. That is why we are the first ones in Russia advancing this new educational direction", - he said.

Several class tutors also appeared in the TV episode. Nikolai Shestakov and Constantin Kuzmin, who outside their teaching practice head the various departments at Yandex and Google Russia, both pointed out that the area of internet business today is in need of specialists like never before. Also, adding that they view the graduates of the program as their own future colleagues, being willing to offer them hands on practical experience in their own companies.
