«I would like to become such a manager like Kuschenko»

RMA business school «Sport Industry Management» program has recently gained a notable member - the guard of «Himki» basketball club, vice-captain of the Russian national team Egor Vyaltsev.

«I’ve heard about RMA from my friends, who either already have or still studying here, such as Dmitry Domani, Sergei Bykov and Victor Khryapa,  — says Egor in an interview with RMA, —  Among those who have warmheartedly recommended me your school I could also point out Sergei Valentinovich Kuschenko. We’ve known each other since the CSKA  days, and I have very high regards toward him. And if I could point at a kind of sports manager that I would one day want to become, it would be someone just like him, that is highly qualified and immensely competent».

Presently, I can’t speak much on the choice of my direction going forward, as I have quite a number of different ideas that I’m currently contemplating… One thing I can say with certainty, that after finishing this educational program I will definitely remain in sports, although at this point I can’t exactly tell you which branch of sports that will be. It is entirely possible that I will chose to become an agent… Then, perhaps, I might want to become a children’s coach, which would also be somewhat analogous to being an agent. So I don’t exclude any possibility for myself at the present moment, even the one that my area of involvement will not be in any way related to basketball… Perhaps it might be a hockey. Why not? I do, after all, have some experience in this area as well…»

«I’ve tried to tailor my schedule to that of my classes…  And I’m quite confident that I’ll be able to attend the school one-two times per week…  Particularly, given that I’ve chosen quite an intensive course for myself, which involves 8-hour long classes every Saturday…  Luckily, Saturday is more or less available for me, since there are no games on that day…» -- said Egor Vyaltsev.
