European Restaurant Management: modern tendencies

On May 8-25, 2008, students specializing in Restaurant and Club Industry Management completed a traineeship abroad "European restaurant management: modern tendencies" in the French city of Nym. The program for the traineeship was developed together with the International Hotel and Tourism Management School VATEL.

The program was compiled taking into account RMA's experience in organizing educational trips to Great Britain, Italy, Germany and Spain. During the traineeship program its participants listened to lectures and participated in the workshops organized by leading instructors of the VATEL institute, one of France's best private schools in the restaurant and hotel management sphere. The students of the program also visited the vineyards of two leading commercial units of the Languedoc-Roussillon region (practical training "Regional wines production process") and had classes on compatibility of various sorts of wines and cheeses.
